Carisa started photographing as a young child. Whether it was the clouds, her dog, people, or even her dolls, she loved the concept of having that image forever. After many Polaroid cameras, a Razor flip phone, disposable cameras, leading to her first Canon point and shoot, she realized that she wanted to take the leap and study photography in college. Carisa found that she had a passion for portrait photography and that it was something that she wanted to focus on during her time in school.

After graduating from CSU Channel Islands with a B.A. in Art, emphasizing in Photography, she decided to start Carisa Isabel Photography. Her small business focuses on the importance of family, friends, partners, pets, new beginnings, and the overall beauty of portrait photography. As a San Diego native, she focuses her work mainly in San Diego and surrounding counties, but would love to travel to capture your special moments.
